Radon is a toxin that causes lung cancer.  Its a radioactive gas on the element table which cannot be seen, smelled, nor tasted. This gas that seeps up from the ground and into homes, from the ground through the concrete and populates the air. This toxic gas is the is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. It is only second to smoking when it comes to lung cancer deaths.

Radon science tells us that the gas originates from the natural (radioactive) breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water. It leaches through cracks in solid floors, construction joints, and walls, as well as gaps in suspended floors, around service pipes, walls, and water supply. Radon contaminates the air you breathe and can be found all over the U.S. in any type of building, including homes, offices, and schools.
