non-visible gas is.
Radon Testing came too late for a 39-year old person who is a non-smoker has to receive infusion for stage 4 lung cancer at Utah Cancer Specialists in Salt Lake. The story was published about a year ago. It's the tragedy of a 39 year old, non-smoking man who is Dad to two adolescents children. Unfortunately, he had at the time received this stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis.
A multipart documentary called, "Radioactive Killer". explained that the most amount or leading cases of lung cancer come from radon. This radon gas is invisible, odorless and carcinogenic to humans. People and animals come in contact with it because it is produced and formed as uranium in the soil breaks down.
As a result of the ongoing coverage, Rep. Kevin Stratton, R-Orem, explained that he made introduction of HB45 in an effort to produce a task force to take on and put in place a study of the problem over the following 18 months.
Commenting, "Let's roll up our sleeves and come up with something that works," as stated in the Desert News publication.
It has been reported that the bill which was currently in Senate Rules Committee, had passed from the House 68 to 8.

In Racine as well as many of our surrounding cities, like Kenosha and Burlington, do not have activists in the local municipalities willing to take on the task of educating our friends and neighbors about radon throughout, Racine county, Kenosha county and Walworth county.
We have to get the word out to Wisconsin residents how bad breathing this toxin really is for people and pets. So many folks have no idea how important it is to fix the home if the radon level is 4 picocuries per liter (pCi/L) or higher. Radon levels less than 4 pCi/L can and do also pose a risk factor and, in multiple cases, can be reduced. If we do not let our fellow Racine, Kenosha and Walworth county friends and neighbors know about these facts, they will not know the importance of taking steps get radon testing. A simple radon test is the only way to know the score and whether or not the home has a potential lung cancer causing problem for those occupying it.
EPA recommends testing be done with a lab test or monitoring every two years. Racine Radon mitigation & testing offers testing harmful non-visible gas, as well as radon mitigation system installation services. EPA estimates that radon causes thousands of cancer deaths in the U.S. each year.
